Our talk will be “The Women of Wroxeter” given by Cameron Moffat.

Cameron worked for English Heritage for many years, latterly as the Curator of Collections for the West Midlands region, where Wroxeter Roman City is one of the most significant sites. She was part of the team behind the recent redisplay of the site and its museum. This talk considers the archaeological evidence for the women of Roman Wroxeter and their lives, a subject developed in the new display. Her research interests are mead in antiquity and Romano-British beliefs and superstitions.’
